The Role

The Account Manager we’d love to hire is a passionate, detail-oriented person who is great at building relationships and works well cross functionally with other departments.

His/her secret weapons are multi-tasking, diplomacy and psychology skills not to get mad at everyone if they don’t perform on time or if delays or unexpected events happen (and they do happen). We have wonderful meditation apps to suggest too ;)

Oh, and let’s not forget “fun to work with” (fun is a serious matter for Etiqers).

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning of weekly work taking into consideration strategic and technical priorities
  • Problem solving between the internal team and the client, using various platforms of communication and video conferencing
  • Meeting organization including the creation of the agenda, leading the meeting in English, pre-meeting planning sessions, and follow up with next steps
  • Team supervision including setting priorities and problem escalation
  • Completion of executive summaries and reporting, including budget tracking and time management
  • Liaising with the finance department for creation and submission of documents such as Statements of Work and Change Orders
  • Managing the internal files on the Etiqa server
  • Taking care of account communication, such as upcoming holidays, or team updates, with the day to day contact on the client side
  • Provide industry news and financial updates to the Etiqa executive team, with the goal of understanding where opportunities lie within the client company
  • Liaise with Etiqa exec team where appropriate, to bring in SME for the client's strategic benefit and account development
  • Communicate and collaborate with the US office to identify opportunities

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in an account management or sales role
  • Excellent attention to details, organization skills and time management
  • Ability to work with technical projects and teams
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and people skills
  • Ability to create and maintain long term relationships with clients and identify new prospects and opportunities
  • Experience with project management tools and applications
  • Must be fluent in English and Italian
